New collection bags are needed in the church and some hassocks to replace the present ones, which are in a dilapidated condition – possibly caused by mice or rats.
“It’s not rats,” said Mr Moorey, “but young schoolboys.”
New hassocks would cost approximately 10s to 11s each, so it was decided that Mrs Moppett should investigate the number and their condition and report the details at the next PCC meeting.
