Choir pay, Feb 1972

New rates of pay per week had now been agreed, and were as follows:
a) Up to 10 years:            Seven and a half pence (about £1 today)
b) 10 – 15 yrs:                   Thirteen and a half pence (about £1.80 today)
c) 15 years upwards:      Nineteen and a half pence  (about £2.60 today)
Junior singing badge:     An additional three pence (about £0.40 today)
Senior singing badge:    An additional four pence (about £0.55 today)
