Church Hall, April 1969

Stuart Billington

Our thanks go to those people who run the Whist and Beetle Drives, which produced a profit of over £55 for the year (about £900 today).
The use of the new Rectory for parish organisations leaves the Hall available for letting on Mondays and alternate Fridays.
At their last meeting, the committee decided to decorate the outside of the hall voluntarily. This would save about £150 (about £2,500 today), which will be needed as all our balance will be required for the repair or renewal of the roof in the very near future.
