Brook Street wall, July 1972

Stuart Billington

A letter had been received from the Borough of Lewes stating that the Brook Street wall was dangerous and it was a matter of urgency to get it repaired.
After a lengthy discussion it was hoped that the Church could work in unison with the Borough.
It was proposed that the PCC apply to the Council for a grant.
A Standing Committee would be called if the matter became immediate.
