Brook Street wall, Oct 1972

Stuart Billington

A first class job had been made of the Brook Street wall, but no bill has yet been received. It was decided to wait for this until a grant was applied for.
With reference to the closure of the churchyard, a notice would be put in the local paper to test public opinion.
It was asked if the Engineer’s fee with regards to the wall was known. This is still awaited. It was noted that the fee should be known before an Engineer was employed.
