The Organ 1927

Stuart Billington

Mr Uridge presented a report in regard to the new organ fund. He said gifts and loans amounting to £1,040, made up of £690 in cash and £350 money lent. In addition, Mr Hotblack had promised to repay the last £40 of the loans provided the sum due was paid in a year. The money in hand about represented the cost of the new organ and its accessories, and an order had been given for the organ to be installed. The instrument, he understood, would be erected about the end of September.
