Church Choir, Easter Day 1929

On Easter day at the Choral Eucharist at 8.00 am the music was by Myles B. Foster, and B. Tours in C.
At Matins the Te Deum was sung to Stanford in B flat, and the anthem was ‘Since by man came death’ from the Messiah (Handel).
The solo ‘I know that my Redeemer liveth‘ was sung by Master Bertie Gordon.
The anthem at Evensong was ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was slain‘ from the Messiah, and the ‘Hallelujah Chorus‘ was sung after the Blessing.
