The Rector said he had had a letter from the organist about choir pay.
He suggested changing the rate of pay from 4d, 5d and 6d to 4d, 6d and 8d per attendance, according to age. This was agreed.

This was of course for the children in the choir. Today 4d, or 4 old pence, would be worth about 25p.
