Senior Adventurers, April 1970

Stuart Billington

Senior Adventures has a total membership of 40 boys and girls, which produces an average attendance of 20 each week. The situation of four years ago has been reversed with the girls outnumbering the boys by 3 to 2.
A small committee has just been formed and we hope they will greatly contribute towards the club activities and organisation.
Activities throughout the year have been varied. During the summer we have had swimming, putting, rambles, wide games etc, and the winter session has included talks on Stamp and Coin collecting, Treasure and Scavenger Hunts, various quizzes, Map drawing, Competitions and Club Olympics. But the most popular event is still the Halloween Party, which is always a resounding success, only we wish more parents would accept our invitation to come along on this night to see how the Club functions.
This year many new things are planned (including an All Fools Night Party) and we trust we can continue to report in such a successful manner.
