Wartime duties 1941

The Rector said that the question of fire watchers for the church was exercising their minds and they hoped that volunteers would come forward.
Fire watchers were also needed for the day schools, where there was only one male member of the staff.
The roll of honour contained the names of 140 or 150 men are on active service.
