St John's Sunday School Treat: July 1902

The Annual Treat for this School will be held, through the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. Currey, in the field adjoining Malling Deanery, on Wednesday, August 6th. The Children will assemble at the Church at 2:30.
Subscribers and their friends are invited to attend, but it is important that they should bring with them printed notice that they have received, which will be treated as a “pass” at the bridge.
This year in consequence of the death of Mr Currey’s faithful servant, to whom the parents of children were mostly well known, a policeman will have to keep the gate, and it is necessary to have tickets of admission. Those parents or friends of the scholars wishing to be present should procure these through their children from Sunday School teachers.
No one will be allowed to cross the bridge without a ticket.
