Since our first meeting in October 1968 we have been entertained and instructed by various speakers and films, and have travelled (in spirit) all over the world.
Two coach trips, one to Sheffield Park Gardens and the other visiting the Bishop Otter College and Chichester Cathedral were undertaken last summer, and our revived Annual Dinner with over 70 present was a great success.
The average attendance at the monthly meetings has been 30, and if this can be raised to the 50 mark it must increase the already good fellowship spirit now showing.
We would welcome suggestions for future meetings and general activities, and thanks are due to the Rector, John Fuller, and the Tea and Biscuit Team for all their sterling work during the past year.
Financially we are quite solvent!
