During the past year we have had a variety of programmes with speakers, outings, discussions etc. We were pleased that we were initially responsible for the “Shelter Campaign” which resulted in £320 being collected (about £5,000 today), the cost of housing one family.
The club consists of those about to be engaged, those engaged, and those married – so many of the programmes are geared to the interests of this age group.
We would always welcome new members at the Rectory on the second and fourth Mondays of the month – for the club exists to help one another especially during the early years of their marriage.
