Parish Project, Nov 1968

It was suggested that use should be made of people’s time and talents in personal service to others who needed help.
Mr Graham pointed out that many schools were running similar schemes and that it might be necessary to get together. The Rector said the Church Youth Club would come into it.
Those in need were thought to be the old,  and young people with children. Also, help could be given by car owners to get visitors to and from hospitals.

A parishioner stressed the importance of the organisation of the project and was willing, with the help of two others, to try and put this scheme into practice.
Carried unanimously.
