The Rector reported on the meetings at the Tally Ho. He felt that although it was not completely successful, it was not a ‘write off’.
The Landlord’s wife had supplied refreshments for each evening’s meeting, and it was proposed that as a token of appreciation, flowers to the value of £5 (about £70 today) be sent to her.
