This is for the ladies of the Parish and meets on alternate Friday nights at the Rectory at 7:45 pm. There are various activities, including speakers on various specialist subjects. This year we had a talk about the care of our feet, and two nursing sisters told us of their work abroad.
Members take turns to make the coffee, and the whole evening is a very informal, friendly one.
About 16 ladies attend each meeting and are taking a more active part in the worshipping life of the Church, now helping with the once a month Sunday morning collection.
This year at the Summer Fete we were able to relieve the hard working Women’s Fellowship by providing teas, which they did extremely well.
The Women’s World Day of Prayer was well attended by all the group.
