Repairs to buttress cappings and wall copings, 2015

Repairing or renewing buttress cappings and wall copings was a major element of the repair work required.
All of it was carried out using 100% lime render, which is more durable than the cement render which had been used previously, and which had probably contributed to the failures which were all too plain to see.
